There were signs comparing President Barack Obama to a Nazi and showing him with an Adolf Hitler-style mustache, but federal officials believe another sign referencing the president and his family went too far.

A man who was holding a sign reading "Death to Obama" Wednesday outside a town hall meeting on health care reform in Hagerstown, Md., has been turned over to the Secret Service.

Washington County Sheriff's Capt. Peter Lazich said the sign also read, "Death to Michelle and her two stupid kids."

Lazich said U.S. Secret Service agents took the unidentified 51-year-old man into custody Wednesday afternoon after deputies detained him near the entrance to Hagerstown Community College.

I imagine the folks at the USSS don't take very kindly to that sort of idiotic behavior, and definitely don't consider "I was trying to make the FReepers look bad" a legitimate excuse.

No one really wants Obama dead. Otherwise we get Biden and every stupid measure passed for at least the next 3 years in "his memory". Hi,

While I do not wish BO harmed, I would much prefer Biden because hopefully he would dump the most dangerous man in the country, Rahm Emmanuel.  Biden would not have any mandate at all, Pelosi would try to take over and it would be a zoo.

I do not see an republicans voting for something in memory of BO.  What I do see is if someone were stupid enoought to take out BO that the Rodney King street riots would look tame compared to what would happen.  Acorn would realize they lost their chance and unleash em all. 

I know more than one person who feels that is going to happen sooner or later anyway so might as well bring it on and get it over with.

Truthfully, given a choice, I would like the truth to win over what is going on, beat them in the hearts and minds of the majority of the voters.
