In all, the government seized those records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown but more than 100 journalists work in the offices whose phone records were targeted on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.

This was bound to happen eventually.  It was about "national security" reasons.  Something to do with a terrorist attack on an airliner.  The AP is an International wire press and probably have a lot of shady contacts.  We'll probably never know the whys and wherefores.

I imagine ProSense's fingers are bloody stumps by now. She's over there posting every positive story she can. She's now attempting to connect stories that are only scantly, if at all, related. She's like a mostly dead spider furiously spinning its little heart out.

Don't worry little DUmmies...the press is going to beat them up for a couple of weeks so they can say they covered it (as an added bonus it's taken Benghazi off the public radar...bet the families are discouraged again). This way, they get it out of the way for midterms and Hillary's sailing into the WH. As we speak those very same news organizations are working on digging up dirt to throw at whatever Republican is up for election. Probably had lunch with some "low level" employee at the IRS this week.
