And these ** cough-cough**people think that in the case of civil unrest that they can defend themselves. Not only that, but go on an offensive and win. :lmao:

Wonder if Manifestor of Light got called out for being less than complimentary toward her gay female comrades?

MOL is also featured in the thread about hanging stupid signs on her fence.  I can just picture her now.  Mouse brown, limp hair cut short, black square glasses, sunken chest, dowdy clothes, ugly sensible shoes.   Her post was funnier than hell, though.

I've never noticed Manifestor's posts before, but they remind me of Bouncy Ball's posts.

When asked to post a pic of the signs, she couldn't produce. Ergo, a bouncy.

I never minded gym class, really enjoyed some of it, but I don't believe it benefits physical fitness or has any other value in education. The kids who enjoy it and really get useful exercise are the active ones who are getting lots of excercise outside the school day, so the extra PE isn't needed. The kids who hate it and slack off through it are the drones, and the expense of supporting PE programs is wasted on them.

There's tremendous value in the voluntary sports programs supported by school systems. The kids who participate get invaluable experience in fitness, competition, patience, discipline, and other qualities that will benefit them in later life. I believe mandatory PE is a waste of time and money, useful only to the teachers' unions for the extra jobs it generates. At best, it's just a recess period for the older kids.

I was never into playing sports and didn't do well or enjoy PE, but I did it, and this is the thing, there are things you have to do whether you like it or not, what do you do when you become an adult and don't want to do something? you can't get mommy to write you a note when you're in your 20's 30's etc.

P.E. was required when I went to school. No if's an's about it. You had to be at least half dead to get out of it. My daddy went to the schoolhouse and told them to let me out early, I got enough exercise on the farm.

They let me out early to do farm chores....y'all should have known my Daddy.

I used to love it. In the winter we had a coach who would make us go out in jym shorts. That sure made most of us want to work out but the whiners got that stoped.
Dodgeball Ha that was fun even though I could never get good speed on it like some of the bigger guys. It wasn't hard to dodge it though. Never understood why the crybabies would just try to block it insted of dodging it? Hell thats the name of the game. If you just stood there you became the target!
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

What a bunch of mewling pussies. I liked PE. I was good at dodgeball and kickball. I ****in' loved kickball. I wish I could still play today.

But that's what happens when you grow up. You find an adult game. I'm going to start playing rugby in a few weeks. Come join me DUmmy pussies. Oh that's right, if kickball scared you, this is going to make you shit your pants.

I hated PE, I loathed PE but I would do it again if I could. I learned some very important things in that class. (And I was able to get an A)

Unless someone has a good reason they should be in a PE class, this nation is moving into an obesity epidemic and people want to take their children out of PE? Ridiculous.

I never had a PR class in high school. I played varsity field hockey and was in the marching band, lettered in both. But I got out of taking the class because I was into competitive horseback riding. Of course my mother had a hard time convincing the teacher that anything other than football was a sport.
But riding 5-6 days a week and all the care that those horses required kept me in better shape than most of the football players and unlike them I managed to win consistently.

Jam a finger?

:ohnoes:

Life is rough, grow the **** up.

Yeah, really.

If I had a dime for every time I jammed a finger playing softball, football, volleyball, etc., I could retire today.

Hell, I even had a fingernail torn off playing goalie during a soccer game.  If you don't bleed, you ain't playing hard enough!

In our gym class, they called it "War Ball", probably not PC enough for today. The cool part was when one side was down to just a few players, and the other side would have hoarded up all the balls. The teacher would change the dividing line from center court to the foul line. It would be a massacre, in one huge volley. You didn't have a chance, even if you could dodge a wrench.
