For the record, the questiong primitive is the primitive formerly known as the hypochondrial frog primitive, the "HypnoToad" primitive.

Isn't he, uh, somewhat old to be in college?

There's nothing, nothing at all, wrong with being in college in late middle age, but remember, this is a primitive here, who has no intention of ever finishing, only of staying a freshman for as many years as possible so as to collect all that student aid.

Judging by recent threads, they have quite a few greybeards and bluehairs in college. It does explain a lot of their adolescent thinking, I suppose.

You fully intended to get done with college, and go out into real life.

lol! I think there a few small business owners there, a couple have posted job offers over a years time but I don't think anyone on DU ever responds.

I know how to spell "Pell Grants".....I spell it "Pail" because if you could see what gets them around here you'd probably call them "Rusty Buckets With a Hole in the Bottom Grants".

Good luck FGL.

I paid for my X to go back to college in her late 30's. She finished up 3 years worth in 2 years by carrying a heavy load and going to summer classes. Had a 3.0+.... got a BS in Computer Sciences and a minor in computer something or other.....then we split the next year without it profitting me a dime......
