  • Creepy ass cracker.

Fox is reporting that Lieberman is calling for an investigation into this.

I just saw that. On defense and the war on terror (not man made disaster) he is really good. If he moved to the right on the other issues he would make a good republican.  :-)
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Protesting higher taxes...socialized medicine...showing up at town hall meetings and making elected officials answer the tough questions...now THAT is terrorism in the minds of those on the left.  Hell military veterans are the real terrorists to the left.

Shooting up 14 innocent people while yelling allah akbar...why that's not terrorism to the left...that's just America's fault for not being more "understanding" of his situation.

I have pointed this out many times. Many terrorists, dictators, assassins, and mass murderers were on the left.

Interesting article from Israel -

Quote
Jewish and Christian leaders have, for the most part, abandoned ancient doctrines that call for violence against others. Islam has earned our suspicion due to 9-11, suicide bombers, and what happens in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Muslim countries and Israel have an easier task in dealing with religious extremists than the United States. Egypt, Jordan, Tunis and Syria can wrap themselves in the symbols of Islam while sending the police and army to do things unacceptable elsewhere against those who threaten the state's control of what happens within its boundaries.

Israeli rabbis condemn their colleagues who urge soldiers not to obey orders about clearing settlements. Security services infiltrate Muslim and Jewish extremists. The Knesset banned Rabbi Meir Kahane from politics. Politicians and the media come down heavily against those who endorse the actions of Goldstein, Amir, or Teitel. The police mass against Muslim and Jewish demonstrators at holy sites, or at parking garages open on the Sabbath.

The United States suffers from its pride in individual freedom, multi-culturalism, openness to refugees (especially from countries affected by American military activities), religious freedom, opposition to ethnic profiling, privacy, and easy access to firearms. We can expect a surge of harassment directed at people who look Middle Eastern, as well as official expressions emphasizing that a misguided fringe should not bring retribution against the great majority of Muslims who are good neighbors. Tensions may increase along with immigration from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Members of the Muslim community in and around Fort Hood have expressed their concern:

'When a white guy shoots up a post office, they call that going postal,' said Victor Benjamin II, 30, a former member of the Army. 'But when a Muslim does it, they call it jihad.'

'Ultimately it was Brother Nidal's doing, but the command should be held accountable,' Mr. Benjamin said. 'G.I.'s are like any equipment in the Army. When it breaks, those who were in charge of keeping it fit should be held responsible for it.'"

Ranking officials expressed confusion and caution. The Army Chief of Staff said, "This is a tough one ... It's a kick in the gut." President Obama cautioned against "jumping to conclusions" while investigations continue.
How should individuals protect themselves from the madness of believers? There may be nothing more certain than staying away from sensitive places at sensitive times, and hoping for good luck.

Not that I completely agree with his assessment but some of it is close enough to hit where it hurts.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

We probably paid close to if not more than six figures to put this killer through school so he can earn his MD license for Psychiatry...how does he repay this country?...by shooting 30 of his fellow soldiers.  He needs to be not only executed, but named for the terrorist he is.  None of this *****footing around it, President OBAMA..Call him out, call him a terrorist, and then stick a needle in his arm.

This CiC angers me like no other.

Didn't the last person the Army executed get lethal injection?

Far too polite and clean for this piece of garbage.

There was an army rep on Fox news a few days ago that said military court can take just as long as civilian court cases, between appeals and lawyers trying the insanity defense.

With all the stuff the investigators are finding regarding him contacting Al-Queda...it's going to be tough to try to use insanity.

We could look at it that the terrorists - commiting atrocities in the name of religion -  are all insane...but that would be opinion rather than fact.

The terrorists are perfectly cognizant of what they are doing .....all in the name of Allah.

Too bad that they can't call me back to active duty so I could be on that trial.....

Lethal injection is the way the military does it these days.

That is assuming that :
1. They find him guilty.
2. They impose the death penalty.

Does it irritate anyone else that the media is still referring to him as "the alleged" shooter?  Seriously, is there any doubt that he is the one that done it?

Correct on the assumptions.

Yes, it irritates the hell out of me.

Until one is found guilty either by admission to a judge or by a jury of one's peers....they must be referred to as "alledged"....otherwise it's considered slanderous or libelous....and the person making the comments either in writing or verbalizing....can be sued. Something a newsreporter/journalist/newpaper/tv network/etc isn't going to risk.

It just seems wrong that when the person is caught red handed doing the deed, they still are called "the alleged" , or the "suspect".

Yeah, I think the UCMJ stipulates a jury "of peers" or slightly senior -- never junior.

Teuth is an absolute defence against lible/slander. Back some decades, some idiot judge decided that just saying Hasan killed presumed guilt andprejudiced any possible jury.  So now tthe jerks say "alleged" and "Accused" so frequently you want to smack them upside the head.
