How tight is security around the US Capitol this morning? The day after the insurrection, January 7, I was parked on the other side of this fence. I’ve seen lots of National Guard soldiers carrying assault rifles. And I’ve already been approached 2x by US Capitol cops. More @WTOP

9. Sad to see our Capitol in this state and for no good reason.
The fear and inconvenience of all this security will discourage some Americans with their children from visiting the halls of democracy as well as museums and other D.C. attractions.
All due to a political party's long-term malfeasance and one man's hubris and ego.......

15. A soon as today is over and Trump does not come back as the 19th president
they will make up some some nonsensical excuse and make a later date and their diehard followers will continue to believe it because basically they have nothing. The world has been ending for thousands of years and people still fall for the latest greatest prophecy.

As soon as they finish the computer generated hologram of Joe xiden and upload the george soros approved speech, then they will announce the time and date of the state of the union speech that will be mandatory for all tv and radio stations to broadcast and required viewing for all people residing in the United States
