The wig is so horrible that it just sucks in all your attention to the extent that you can't even hear anything Fabricant is saying. Try it. In these video clips all your attention is sucked in by his wig and whatever Fabricant is saying is completely ignored. The DayGlo wig just outshines all  reality surrounding it. In fact, that attention stealing wig is so powerful that it even draws all your attention when Fabricant rides a bicycle naked.

p.s. Did Fabricant ask his wigmaker to pattern his hairpiece after Boris Johnson's hair but on steroids?

That was funny!  I too couldn't pay attention to whatever it was that he was saying.

Didn't even while he was riding the bicycle naked ...

The only wig I've ever seen that couldn't be more noticable if it was neon pink.

The only thing that could make that wig more perfect would be if Michael Fabricant had a team of minstrels following him everywhere, playing a rousing riff of Yakkety Sax to drown out everything coming out of his soup cooler.
