A Question For Law Enforcement
« on: November 13, 2011, 05:36:53 PM »
If you are a cop I would like to hear your personal experiences about this. If you are not a cop please disregard this and refrain from participating here.

Cops only.

What is your experience with dealing with illegal aliens which you may encounter in your day to day duties, is there an order, written or unwritten that says you must disregard citizenship status of people you encounter in the course of your duties?

Are you explicitly forbidden from asking a suspect or person of interest about their nationality and citizenship status?

The truth is an important thing, that may be up for grabs these days but an awful lot of people still hold to the truth being an important thing, at least sometimes. Maybe.
