Wyoming has about half a million people and two senators
California has about 38 million people and two senators.
New York has about 20 million people and two senators.
This can only be changed by a constitutional amendment which most of the smaller states (which also have two senators) will never vote for. Which means there will be no amendment.
This is the reason the Republicans control the senate.
As for the house of representatives, Republicans control it due to gerrymandering, voter suppression, "lost" votes, "scrubbing" voter rolls, shorter voting hours, closing polling places in Democratic districts, and by outright theft.
Seems to me that, until there is a huge demographic change in America, we are ****ed. (This is why Republicans don't want Hispanic immigrants.)
Someone needs to explain to me why the constitution isn't a suicide pact.
Lord I get tired of seeing their whining, crying, bitching, about this kind of stuff. How hard is it to understand the House is for the people and the Senate is for the state? I don't care if a state has 10 people in it, the state has rights and those rights are determined by the people. Sheesh.
Not to mention the idiot OP doesn't go on to explain the part I bolded. Maybe idiot OP should figure out WHY the people in these fly over states elect conservatives to represent their state and the people in said state ...

Are they back whining about this again? The Senate was designed to make it more difficult for populous states to oppress and exploit the less populous states. Cyanose demonstrates, once again, their foresight and wisdom in so doing.

BTW, the 2017 DUpipo-whining about the design of the Senate had to do with how that increased the impact of less populous states on the Electoral College. Cyanose' whining probably means either that he figured out or someone told him that even if the Ds gained control of the House and won the vote to impeach Trump, the Ds could not retain & win enough Senate seats to remove Trump from office. So now he's whining because of that.

The DUmmy should be thankful that we don't elect Senators the original way with state governments, not the people, sending Senators to DC. If we did it would be a 66 Republican/32 Democrat/2 Independent split.

The Constitution was set up to be fair. Liberals do not understand the concept of fairness in anything. For many libs fair means to get one's way regardless of how senseless and inane a position is.

It needs to go back to that instead of the "Representative and two Super Representatives" model we have now.
There needs to be someone to represent the state who will have to pay for the idiocy that comes from there, and Senators representing the states would be well-suited to do just that.
