No, it isn't April Fools Day. This announcement is on the up and up.
Liberal Underground has closed.
In short, the decision is a personal one. It's time for me to close this chapter and move on to other things.
Thanks so much to everyone that has participated. It was quite a ride. I won't soon forget the friendship shown by many of you.
There is a great little political forum ran by our friend mourningdove where a number of LUers post. I urge all of you to register there and give it a try!

I did the kaddash last night.
Interestingly, I got an e-mail from the rabbi, who assures me he's really really really moving on to other things, putting politics on the back-burner.
My contacts with non-primitives and primitives from Skins's island, current and expelled, are few-and-far between; I have no idea why, because franksolich is a nice guy, accepting of everyone and anyone coming his way--and so since contacts are so rare, I maintain a degree of affection for the rabbi.
By the way, FlaGator, happy to see you here.
