407,000 Votes in Four States Away from the Presidency
Florida: 73,858
Ohio: 103,481
Virginia: 115,910
Colorado: 113,099
Those four states, with a collective margin of 406,348 for Obama add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.

So ashamed of Virginia...

Well when one guy promises all kinds of freebies and the other guy promises to make it easier so you can work to get what you want and need, the guy with the freebies wins.

Rush Limbaugh compared Obama to Santa Claus . He was wrong. Santa Claus doesn't steal toy from some kids to give them to other kids.

The military votes missed the deadline, a day late. What would have happened if they had been counted?

We'd be talking about what to expect in the first Romney administration.

Dori,
The number of military absentee ballots would not have been enough to change the outcome. None of the listed states have those numbers of residents deployed OCONUS. And make no mistake, Obama has many, many supporters in uniform. The junior enlisted ranks, younger people, have larger numbers and percentages of minorities and women, all of which leaned D last Tuesday.
