Title: 0bama Throttling The Economy With Gas Price Manipulation

We've all heard the song and dance. That it's not the president's fault that gas prices are high and he can't do anything about it anyway. Bullsh!t. He most certainly can have an influence on gasoline prices if he chooses to do so. He could allow access to domestic oil and gas reserves yet he chooses not to. He could have supported the Keystone pipeline yet he chose to kill it.

This president chooses not to do so. As usual with this guy, he has said one thing and done another.

Stephen Chu, 0bama's energy secretary is on record (2008) saying “Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”

Like everyone else I am no fan of high gas prices and this household is certainly feeling the pinch at the pump. My wife and I are presently spending over $500 per month to fuel our two vehicles. There is no polite way to sugar coat that, it #@&*ing hurts, period. Despite pleas from the Donk herd in both the House and Senate to tap the strategic reserve and offer some relief in an election year Lord Zero will hear none of that. Therein lies the silver lining, if there is one to be found in any of this. 0bama is ignoring them and this can only serve to help oust as many of them as possible at the ballot box come NO-vember.

I'm against tapping into the Strategic Petroleum Reserves.  They were not meant to be used for political purposes.

True and I agree....but democrat presidents have done it before and then a Republican one has to refill it.

Allow me to clarify. I wasn't referring to our strategic reserves. I meant our own oil and natural gas right here under our own feet in the lower 48, in Alaska and offshore. Lord Zero will not permit further domestic production.
