There's something happening to the Democratic Party...

It's hard to put your finger on it but it was more obvious last night than it has been in a very long time.

Democrats were proudly saying they were "liberal". They were challenging the lies of the Republicans. They were speaking with passion and strength. They were bold with their compassion.

Something was different. They were standing up to the bullies that have been threatening and slurring the Democratic Party. When they saw something they thought was wrong with the platform, they had the courage to change it.

I sensed that the Party was changing before my eyes. They were not becoming more "centrist", as many have suggested. In my opinion, many mistook honesty and truth for centrism. In fact, honesty and truth appeals to everyone, including Republicans. Bill Clinton presented the truth to the American people. It was refreshing.

But there was something else happening. The Party was not ashamed or hesitant to speak about rights for women or the subject of abortion. They were not ashamed to speak of gay rights or marriage equality. This was not "centrist". This was liberal. That was the change that was happening. The Democratic Party was embracing its liberal roots and the crowd loved it. I have a hunch that the country will love it also.

6. I've been watching FOX sense last night, dems are WHOOPING ASS! This morning FOX tried to go back

...to some dems they thought would be quite and in one interview you could tell the interviewer got shut down and went to hard break came back and got shut down again.

They had no tangible fact check issues with Clintons speech but they're on the defensive about the level of challenge RayGun had..

Too bad the AP fact check basically called Clinton a liar.

Or maybe they are in such desperate shape they need to pander to the extreme lunatics to get them on board with hopes that they can still lie their way past the independents later.

Nobody wanted your OWS shit either yet you imbeciles insisted the mere fact of your camping in the streets and molesting each other was a great political awakening. 2008 will be noted as the high water mark for communism and the totalitarian state in the USA for at least two generations.

As I have said before, the scary part will be what the narcissist in the WH does in the lame duck session. I know it will be bad, just how bad I don't want to think about.

You want to know what's different, Kentuck?  They know that they can't win independents with the economy as horrible as it is, so they're trying desperately to get as many of you miserable ****s as possible motivated to vote.  They know they're going to lose the presidency, so the adults in the party are trying to use you to minimize the loss of House and Senate seats so they can make a go of it in the future.  That said, there are just some things that they know they can't get away with if they want to have any long-term viability.  That's why they had to drag you kicking and screaming to reinsert God and Jerusalem into the platform.

And one other thing: The Democrat Party benefited from Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware, Kevin Ogletree, DeMarco Murray, and those people in the other uniforms last night.  I saw a tweet from Larry Schweikert last night that the game was viewed by 17 million, vs. 5 million for the convention.  That means that they could afford to sneak in some appeals to the moonbat base while other people saw my Cowboys beat the Gnats.

BTW how is that OWS thing working out for them? They have certainly gotten very quiet the closer to election time it is. To bad too because they really need to step up to the palte and show support for the Dems.

Now is the time for OWS to really get out there and do their thing!! Last summer was too early, people forgot about the message! Get out there, squat on public land, bang drums 24/7, shit everywhere, harangue people who walk by! That's the best way to get people to convert to your cause!
