1. That was the only part of the trial I watched today...
And as I watched, the same question crossed my mind too.

4. I haven't Been able to watch the coverage.
So the cop admitted he’s racist?

5. Chief of Police was on the stand today. He's a black man.
He’s Chauvin’s boss. He really didn’t want to be there today, he said he didn’t want to be in the same room as Chauvin.
He was EXCELLENT.

6. Yes he was. I notice that he is hardly looking at the murderer
:whatever:
Chief Arradondo says “it is contrary to our training to...put your knee on a prone handcuffed individual for an indefinite period of time.”
GRAPHIC EVIDENCE: Defense asks police chief during cross if he’d agree that in the body camera angle (on the right) #DerekChauvin’s knee is on #GeorgeFloyd’s shoulder not neck.
Chief Arradondo: Yes.
Defense: No further questions.

The 4 cops involved are so racially diverse, together they look like a cast photo of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

:thatsright: IIRC, one of the less senior officers with Chauvin that day was east Asian. :thatsright: ::) Maybe his brown skin was light enough that Chauvin only disliked him? ::)

We know Chauvin is a hater of black and brown
we do?

we do?
He's a cop, it's required, right?

It sounds like the state is trying to distance themselves from Chauvin.
I have yet to hear anything resembling a plausible motive for murder, let alone a racially motivated murder, from the prosecution (or anyone else).

The City of Minneapolis and the State of Minnesota have been railroading Chauvin from Day 1. The critical problem in the case, I think, is that Chauvin's actions may have been irrelevant to Floyd's death, the cause of which appears to have been a drug OD.

In MN, neither Third Degree Murder nor Second Degree Manslaughter (two of the charges against Chauvin) require intent.

And of course, a Soviet-style show trial full of yes-men witnesses for the prosecution naturally appeals to people at DU.
And the more I think about the prosecution's theory of how Chauvin killed Floyd, the less it makes sense.
