Title: Proposal: let's spend the next 6 months acting like they acted for 8 years
Post by: jinxmchue on January 21, 2009, 12:41:35 PM: And every time they get indignant at us calling Mr. Obama "chimpy," "idiot," and every other insult they hurled at President Bush as well as saying "he's not my president," we can call them on it.

No.

"Obama" works. And only "the President" when absolutely necessary.

The Office of President should be respected, but Obama deserves every bit of in-kind respect that he and the other Democrats, liberals and leftists, including the advoacy/adversary media here and abroad, gave President Bush.

They will cry, of course, at the unfair treatment.

And those who do not fall at his feet, exalting him will be labeled racist, at minimum.

BTW: For just six months? No. The written and verbal assaults began on President Bush from late Election Day night in 2000 and continued until, well, they're still going on.

Obama deserves at least that level and duration, don't you think?

For the past 8-years they've had free reign to call President Bush names, and make comments about how he pronounces the word "nuclear", etc., etc.

Funny thing is, the dems and libs began whining and sniveling almost from day one that it isn't right that we do to them what they've been doing to us for the past 8-years.
