Yet Another Pedophile Leftist Arrested

Yes, they really do want to diddle the kiddies.

It’s hard to conclude anything else, given how insistent the Left is about sexualizing kids and the recurring stories about various people in the upper echelons of society who wind up in sex scandals having to do with underage sex of some kind.

Jeffrey Epstein, anyone? So far J.P. Morgan alone has paid out $365 million to victims due to their facilitation of Epstein’s pedophilic sex trafficking, and several high-profile people have been implicated in the scheme. Yet nobody besides Epstein and Gislaine Maxwell has faced any consequences.

I wonder why…

I am not going to rehash all the pedophilic sex scandals out there, both because I have written about many of them and because I want to focus on the latest one.

Yet another member of the media has been arrested for child pornography, this time the (former) editor of The Recount, a left-leaning “press outlet” that does the propaganda work to the Left along with so many others. You may not be familiar with it, but it is commonly used to create credibility for Leftist talking points. I run across their stories all the time. I guess you can say it is something of an insider publication, but prominent in its circles.

Sohner, if you look him up, also used to host a radio show on Sirius XM and is all over the Left-wing podcast world as a guest. He was a big deal in those circles.

Another leftist busted on child pornography, which is Slade Sohmer.

Slade Sohmer was let go last month, presumably because this scandal was about to break. He has been a strong advocate for the sexualization of children in schools, and Buzzfeed even profiled him for being so. They just took down their story, mysteriously. I guess the story got a bit stale or something, and they decided nobody would be interested in their take.

Teacher’s Union That Encouraged Teacher Strikes Now Faces Its Own Employee Rebellion
https://dailycaller.com/2023/11/14/national-education-association-teachers-union-strike/

The National Education Association (NEA) has a labor strike on its hands as its 48 employees protest low wages, Axios reports.

The NEA, which represents 3 million educators, has encouraged several massive teacher strikes in past. Now, its own employees have voted unanimously to strike, claiming that wages have not risen to meet surging inflation in recent years.

Thousands of NEA-affiliated Portland teachers went on strike in October over low pay and large class sizes, among other issues. The strike is ongoing. Teachers in Massachusetts and Columbus enjoyed NEA support while they went on strike last year. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Disney’s Latest DEI Move Is To Give Pronoun Pins To Epcot Janitors)

“The NEA is going to have step up and honor the values of the organization,” the bargaining chair for the union representing the NEA’s staff, LaToya Johnson, said.

Johnson said she hoped that the organization would give their employees the same benefits they fought for the teachers they represent to have.

Guess, who is going on strike? National Education Association (NEA) staff.

Majority of Americans take notice in the rise of 'tipflation' across industries
https://www.foxbusiness.com/media/majority-americans-take-notice-rise-tipflation-across-industries

A majority of Americans are growing wary of ‘tipflation,’ where services that previously never requested tips are now asking customers for more of their money.

Americans are realizing that tips for servers aren’t just for restaurants and bars anymore. Pew Research Center surveyed 11,945 U.S. adults in August 2023, using the Center’s nationally representative American Trends Panel to discern how citizens feel about the practice across a variety of different services, from takeout to haircuts.

"A broad majority of Americans say they’re being asked to tip service workers more frequently than in the past," Pew Research reported. "Around seven-in-ten U.S. adults (72%) say tipping is expected in more places today than it was five years ago, a finding that tracks with anecdotal reporting and has even been dubbed ‘tipflation.’"

This appears to be true across demographics and is partially due to changing technology as "The adoption of point-of-sale tablets, apps and digital kiosks has made it easier for businesses to provide customers with tip prompts and suggestions."

Notice more tips being requested outside of restaurants and bars? Some restaurants ask for 30% tip.
