A lot of primitives have a problem with arrogance, but they all have chinks, soft spots, in their armor.

Of course nadin being fallible--despite that she thinks she isn't--she does have a chink in her armor.

The problem is, only those from here with moles on Skins's island who've communicated with the stunted one when over there, know what that chink is.

But our Christian compassion and restraint obstruct us from publicly pointing it out.

We believe in the rules of good clean sportsmanlike conduct (even if the primitives don't), and so best to let nadin herself show it by random chance or accident or sheer negligence.
