Dang, I forgot about Yosemite. And Gettysburg (camped there, actually). And Mt. Vernon, Hoover Dam, The Big Island, Hawaii.

A couple of places I won't bother, regardless of the circumstances:

Anything with "Disney" on it.
Anything in Commiefornia. It just ain't worth the aggravation.

I haven't been to that many places that are unique, however I did fly in a hot air balloon with Wolfman Jack! :)

Lower 48 states all but 3, Oregon -- Washington State -- Idaho
been to Hawaii but not Alaska yet

My dad was an Air Force recruiter and back when Mr. Pibb was first coming out on the shelves, the Air Force, the Cocoa Cola company, and Wolfman Jack all participated in a promotion for it.  My dad represented the AF as a sponsor, and the release included Wolfman Jack going up in the air in a "Mr. Pibb" hot air balloon.  I got to go up with him since I was with my dad.

I remember my mom dancing to that song in the kitchen while cooking.  One of many great memories of her love of music!
