I'd like to suggest some legislation the House could introduce

The don’t punish federal workers because our president is an infant act.

Basically forbiding business from taking late payment action againts federal workers who are either furloughed or forced to work without pay. Or contractors who’s income is heavily dependant on the government being open for business.
Landlords cannot evict.
Banks cannot foreclose.
Credit card companies cannot issue late payment penalties and reporting agencies can’t ruin credit scores

Undernormal circumstances, it would not be considered financially irresponsible to take a job working for the federal government. So many on conservative facebook are quick to blame the workers for not saving up enough to be prepared for a shutdown...
It’s not these peoples fault their president refuses to pay them.

Congress has responsibility for the budget.
Congress is run by dems.
Dems are refusing to pay federal employees.

Federal workers are all but un-fire-able, and their "company" will never go out of business. My employers, OTOH could fire me for having just two feet and two hands, or could go bankrupt owing me two weeks' pay. So I'm having trouble summoning a great deal of sympathy for Federal employees who, IIRC, will miss their paycheck for the first time today.

Um, question.

Workers in private enterprise don't get relief from paying bills when they're laid off or unemployed.

Why are governmental employees any more special than them?

This is going to be fun over the next 23 months.  Watching DUmmies and the left trying to promise the most free stuff.

I myself am looking forward to the epic melt down when RBG meets Ted Kennedy. Now that will be fun.

Wouldn’t that be a Hallmark moment?
RBG: You left your date in a car, so she could die an agonizing death?
TK: Well, yeah, but in my defense, I’m a Kennedy, I’m Catholic & most importantly, I’m pro abortion.
RBG: Forgiveness is divine! I’d invite you to the party welcoming all those aborted babies but, for some reason, none of them are being sent down here.

>I’d invite you to the party welcoming all those aborted babies but

Such guilt only works on the fettered few.  Guilt is no solution to private righteousness.  I am not a woman so I can
not judge what it is to have a rapist seed growing inside of me.  As I am I would destroy it asap...like a plague.

Judging others is not the place you were born into.

The way it will go down?  Paid vacation for the non essential, double pay for the essential who worked without pay.
Why? Because they worked while the others had time off.  No leave will be charge.

In essence Democrats are giving the American public a gigantic stool transplant.  Bend over and enjoy it.  :whistling:

I wonder if DUmmies know what an ATC makes  :o  trust me it will feed a lot of circus elephants.
