Saturday, October 2, 2010. The One Nation Working Together March will be HUGH!

More than 150 orgs are sponsors, from the NAACP to SEIU, from AFSCME to the National Council of La Raza, from NTA to the Courage Campaign.

The website has everything you need to know to help you plan to get there and to be a part of one of the largest lib/prog demonstrations in history!

On the West coast, I found a bus going from CALIFORNIA, and I saw another going from OREGON. For those closer to D.C., there are HUNDREDS of buses scheduled from the Eastern half of the country.

For Beck's FailFest, four stations had full coverage of this fiasco.

Unless they can mobilize significant numbers (relative to the protesters), it would only be counter-productive.

But, hey, I could be wrong. And I wouldn't mind seeing a few teabaggers show up with their teabagger signs.

This is just hilarious! Take away the forced union, bussed in slaves, and it wouldn't even make it to a thousand! How many DUmmies are gonna show? I'm thinkin' 20 is goin' to be expectin' too much!!!

These asshats really do believe they have 50,000 members at the DUmp, don't they?

Can't wait until they get back and bad mouth those who were too lazy to show up!

I read this as 150 thugish organizations will not bring the attendance that a single man did.

Well, some bad news, guys.  I've been talking to the technical wonks at VRWC HQ, and they say it's very, very iffy on getting a hurricane spun up and vectored that far north with a square hit precisely during the October 2nd daylight hours.  They promised to do their level best on it, though.

Yeah, they said chemtrails looked like the best bet, they apparently have been trying a new very high altitude application technique that looks a lot like plain old high stratus clouds.  But, they said they'd only be able to get a really good laydown if the hurricane thing completely fails and there's beautiful weather, so it was way too early to make a call on it. 

It's really pretty amazing how much of that special jungle juice a Global Hawk can carry when you pull out the surveillance gear, and how little of the chemical soup it really takes to affect unprotected targets, y'know?

I still like the low level C-130/thousands of gallons approach myself....good, assured coverage....and if you add a few rocks in the tank you get the old "The Sky Is Falling" effect.....which is funny as hell in the morning paper.
