Not sure why these types of things matter so much to democrats???
I am after all these years trying to understand what the White Guilt Vote means. I am sure the meaning has changed in the last 30 years from what ever the hell it originally meant.
I am still trying to figure out if the European Spanish are considered White, the Greeks and the Russian Jews, they look white to me. With the Dutch influence in Indonesia, many look French and the French influence in Asia brings in the now 3/4 white 1/4 Asian-------Very confusing the issue of race as we mongrels have moved about the world.
South Africans that are descendants of the Boar Wars visit or move here with the blue eyed blond looks, their nationality is African, their race is White. Invite a new comer to meet a new friend from Africa and people assume they are black.
Bunch of malarkey this race thing, a cultural thing I guess, only time I saw racial or religious racism was at a wedding when some old biddy moseyed up to me to whisper the dreaded truth. The groom, a Doctor was Jewish.
Hard line old time folk just love to see white mothers with other race children they adopted, but if the mother had given birth to this child herself, OH-MY-GOD, the poor kids, growing up in a Bi- racial family. Now that Obama came along the old farts have quieted down, to the point they vote for him. Had Obama grown up next door with a White mother, these same people would not have voted for him for town dog catcher. Unless he became successful.
Democrats of my era equate money to worth, even a Polish Gangster received respect if they were wealthy enough.
Just another oddity in life I do not understand, has to be some reason for people to be this way.
The more I learn abut human nature the more I value my Dog.
