3. 373 of out 400 "extremely progressive". One of the questions didn't have a left enough answer in my
opinion.

6. I don't like the question
about the primary responsibility of corporations being to make money rather than improve society. That's true, but believing that doesn't make me a conservative. It makes me a liberal realist who knows that for-profit corporations need to be closely watched, regulated, or abolished.

21. I didn't get that one either..
how could a corporations primary goal be anything but the health and wealth of the corporation? I guess I could wish that their goal would be to society, but then they wouldn't be a corporation, would they?

Really. I'm ashamed.
In my defense, I think I got turned around with the scoring scale on a few questions.
-
I got a 48. Yea, Undies, that happened to me too, and I went back and re-read the question.
-
35/400
-
Got a 64/400.
Then I took the test only answering the questions the way one would if you hated all things American and despised freedom and liberty. I got a 390/400.
.
-
90/400 -- extremely conservative. But compared to y'all I'm nearly liberal! :lmao:
-
30/400

I would have done better but there were no
"Do you think it's okay to punch hippies" questions.
Bastards
-
73/400
This makes you extremely conservative. :cheersmate:
I waffled on a few and picked a 5.

I got a 45 out of 400.
That lists me as "extremely conserative"....
This is one of the few things I have done where "low score wins"....
The other 2 were golf and Enduros....
-
Once I got the link right, I scored 56 out of 400. Oh well.
-
Despite a good number of those questions being phrased in a deliberately misleading manner, I still managed 56.
-
56 for me too.

I get a "File Not Found" message. :(

I scored 65/400. Im surprised that it was that high!

-

I got a 40. :) But I have to admit that I answered some questions with very strong answers due to the way the question was phrased. For example - I don't for a single second think that government should take care of the poor etc - but I do think that society should through church and charities. I think more people would change their answers and drift right if they drew a line between society and the government - sadly the left has managed to completely muddle that line. ya know?
-
59
-
106 :o but a "conservative"....I answered 5 on quite a few questions.
-
166 out of 400 :banghead:
-
I got 143. There where some stupid questions that just were just to leading, so I answered 5 on those. It says I'm very conservative.
-
166 out of 400 :banghead:

I answered looking at the absolute basic root level of the questions they were asking and answering that way. If it was a leading question I looked at the basic principal behind it and responded to THAT rather than to what they were phrasing.

-
I am going to try this stupid :censored: quiz again.
-
One question I was asswards on the scale, but continued to take the quiz and ended up with 47
-
48/400.....and I thought I was a moderate... :o
-
I failed... I got a 70.
Some of those questions are screwed up though.
-

Yes, they are. The one I remember most (from yesterday) is the one about homosexuals. To answer, you either have to deny they exist in nature or elevate them to godlike status. The wording is absurd.
-

Well, I meant one question like this:
A positive image of America around the world is necessary to achieve our national security goals.
Now that could be taken a couple ways if ya think about it. Or...
Immigrants today are a burden because they take our jobs and abuse government benefits.
Now if they had said ILLEGAL immigrants, then yes, they'd be right. However most immigrants that come here legally are very hard working and would rather stand on their own two feet rather than depend on government handouts.
It's nuts. The site's quiz is basically asking for more government and skewing questions like that.
-
Did you see the stupid comparison chart? According to the chart, low scores (under 200 or so) are lower educated and most likely baptists.
I would of never thought a bunch of libs would of made a quiz so bias....so much for being free thinkers. They only think what $kinner wants them to think.
-
I got 15/200. Do I win?
And the 3 questions I answered "5" to I didn't have an opinion on one way or the other, so I could have conceivably gotten 0/200.
The wording of the questions is incredibly bogus. One started out stating something like "The arts and public television are valuable to our society," which almost everyone would agree with. However, then it went on to say, "...and they should be supported by the government." Oy. :thatsright:
-
I would get 3/4ths of it done and it would lock up on me........DUmmies must just be getting up for the day and taking the quiz. :lmao:
When I first took the quiz I got something like a 20 but then I realized some things I answered 0 I was actually neutral on so I went back to correct that and got a slightly higher score. It doesn't really matter because it is a quiz put together by a bunch of pansy-ass liberals so their opinion doesn't really matter at all, in the least, the tiniest little iota of a bit but it is kind of fun take the quiz knowing it is done by a totally biased group of people.
-
I got a 53.
yep...thats what i got...
-
97/400
-
dam, i got a 84/400! they said im a ultra conservative!lol :bwah:
-
yep...thats what i got...
The will be a meeting in Red Square at 11:00 AM Tuesday. Be there or be squared, comrad.

I got an 89 but some of the questions were very difficult to answer. The one about taking care of the elderly and poor for instance. My grandmother is 90. She has been told her entire adult life that if she put money in Social Security, it would provide her a retirement income. I don't think it's right or compassionate to pull the rug out from under the elderly because I think SS is a bust. Better to reform it for future generations. I also don't think children who have no control over their lives should suffer because of their parents. Just because mom is a loser doesn't mean the kid should go hungry or not have antibiotics for strep throat or an ear infection. I also believe society has an obligation to step in when a child is being abused. So on this issue I chose 5. For people who love nuance they didn't provide a lot of gray area.
The other question I found particularly tough was the one about whether churches should be about "social justice" (whatever the **** that is) or promoting anti-homosexual, anti-abortion views. The first amendment guarantees freedom of worship. It's not my place (or anyone else) to dictate church doctrine for the whole friggin' country. If someone wants to attend a church where Jesus is a socialist or that has a gay priest it's none of my business. I prefer a more Bible-based church, but that's just me. So that one I had to answer neutral as well. I know what they were fishing for...the correct (i.e. progressive) answer would fall more towards the social justice end rather than the abortion kills babies side, but IMO the first amendment trumps whatever personal feelings I have about what a church should be. Their aim with the question wasn't a constitutional interpretation but it's the only one I felt comfortable considering. Of course, these are the people who consider the Bill of Rights a document of "negative" rights (I still haven't figured that one out) so I guess it's too much to expect questions that don't reflect liberal dogma rather than constitutional principles. They're so predictable.

Personally I think that Christian churches should place worshiping God and teaching about him above anything else, but that might just be me :p
-
Personally I think that Christian churches should place worshiping God and teaching about him above anything else, but that might just be me :p
Well, that's precisely my point. Freedom of religion guarantees that you can *personally* choose the church that worships according to your beliefs. OTOH, you can't *personally* choose a church for me. If my worship includes dancing naked around the oak tree in my yard I can do that. You can certainly think I'm wrong, a heretic, going to hell, etc., but you can't prevent me from worshiping that way. The cool thing about the Constitution is, it's deeply rooted in the concept of free will.

yup. And often I agreed with the sentiments of the question - but they had GOVERNMENT in there where as if they had said SOCIETY I would have voted the other way. Ya know?
-
It's nuts. The site's quiz is basically asking for more government and skewing questions like that.
And that my friend is what being a progressive is all about. THEY know best and you are willing to use the government to force everyone into compliance with what THEY know to be best for us.

Personally I think that Christian churches should place worshiping God and teaching about him above anything else, but that might just be me :p
party of worshiping God is taking care of the widow and the orphan. :)
-

Of course it is, but to say that Church should be about caring for the poor or for being against abortion is a false issue. Christian churches should be about serving God, which would encompass caring for the poor as well as protecting the defenseless.
-
Hey, the troll (aka me) got a 30. Ha ha ha!
-
lol. I still haven't finished the quiz. Too many damn questions.
