congratulations for all the anniversaries.
DU is a true place of refuge for left leaning thinking people. It's also a place of consolation in times of loss, joy in times of celebration, an outlet for the creative and a wonderful loving community.
Thank you EarlG and all the others who make DU happen!
Refuge? Much like North Brother Island where all the T.B., Smallpox, Typhoid, and related dregs of society went. Consolation? More like plotting the deaths of those you disagree with. Joy? You mutts on Skins Island of the Damned are absolutely, 100% the most miserable group ever witnessed. Never happy for any reason. Creative? If thats what you call having a purple mohawk and living in excrement is. Loving? You mutts hate everybody and everything that is in direct opposition with absolutely no room for discussion.
No mention of Skinner? He who gave you, the abandoned, a voice? Who gave you shelter when you were homeless? Nourishment when you were starving? How ungrateful.
How I imagine the circle jerk over there..
