Title: Baseball player Rick Monday saves the American Flag from being torched

Meant to get around to this for numerous reasons, as I have posted this clip before.

In April 1976, a couple of goons ran onto the outfield at Dodger Stadium to burn the American flag.  Outfielder Rick Monday was playing catch with another outfielder and noticed the antics.  Being a good American, Monday raced over and saved the flag.

Since the video is from 1976, it is rather grainy but even the L.A. crowd stood up and applauded saving Old Glory.
