Well, I just had my last meal with my dad, I think.
We agreed to meet after I sent him the email I posted here a few weeks ago.

I agreed to listen to his response that he wanted to make.

Well, it was a long rant about abortion, LGBTQ+, the "open borders," for which Biden should be executed for treason, "wokeness", well, I think you get the gist of it.

He denied any "proof" of Trump's wrong doing as media lies.
He said there was no insurrection on January 6th.
The 2020 election was stolen.

Oh my god it's breaking my heart just to recount how into the cult he has fallen.

It's like invasion of the body-snatchers, but with brains.

I've lost my father.
I can't think if him the same way when he supports fascism.

It hasn't lost its father.

Its father lost it.

And is probably better for it.

How horrible is that?

Has he changed? or was he just a fascist in hiding all this time?

I have no idea, now.....

Wow. Just wow.

Yep. Her father is clearly better off without her.

And, if the :bouncy:-tale is close to accurate, he's had more than enough of her.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

If this actually happened, doubtful, It was dad's last attempt of an intervention to get the DUmbass out of its cult. It didn't work but dad can feel good about trying one last time before writing it off.

If I were its dad, I would send it post cards from all the exotic places I'd go spending its former inheritance.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

He said there was no insurrection on January 6th.

First, I feel very sorry for the dad that he has as an offspring an ignorant, intolerant, uncompassionate DUmmie who puts politics before all else in life.

With that out of the way, I want to say something about January 6th. The left has clutched their pearls about that since it happened declaring that it was almost the end of our democracy (actually republic). Keep in mind, that mostly what happened was that some folks trespassed and walked around inside of the capital building. While the DUmmies (and other leftists) have their pearls safely clutched, I want them to go on the world wide web and do a search asking what happened in Washington DC on August 24, 1814. If the country could survive that, I'm pretty sure that some trespassing wasn't much of a threat to the republic.

With that out of the way, I want to say something about January 6th.

Admittedly, I have not been interested enough to follow the J6 thing and all of the cases in granular detail, so my knowledge is just general.
But what I gathered is that there were a couple-few dozen violent assholes who attacked and hurt people including the police, and those people belong in jail. That includes the "cop" who murdered someone for climbing through a window, but has been given a complete pass. Everyone else MAYBE deserved a scolding, and a few others needed a few months of community service to clean up a mess like the ones they made. Anyone who doesn't view this as a means of political persecution would certainly agree with that assessment, at least I think so.
All that aside, I'd still like for one lefty to explain one thing to me. Is our government so fragile that it would collapse because of a violent riot... even if DC were completely burned to the ground and left a smoking crater?  the answer is: no, no it wouldn't. It would create untold chaos, but government would survive. This was nowhere NEAR "a close call". They hyperbole it takes to prop up this BS is really profound. We all know what's going on here, and it's called persecution, and the left used the government to accomplish it. This is why the entire thing needs Trump, and why it needs to be flushed clean. Democrats infected it with an incurable plague called corruption.

 :hi5: & QFT

As you said, there were some - far from the majority - who were violent, mostly outside I think. There were some who went in knowing they were trespassing. Many/most went in, wandered and milled around, and went back out, all somewhat cluelessly wrt legalities. There may also be some who were present outside the Capitol didn't do more than observe, and have gotten ensnared by LIEden's & the Dems' Hypesurrection BS.

To be honest, I haven't read up on the intricate details of J6. Like you and most sane, normal people, I generally believe that anyone, from either side, who commits violence or destruction belongs in jail; however, back in 2020 the left let it plainly be known that violence and destruction (when political in nature) is just "mostly peaceful protesting" and is a-okay. Because of that, I have to assume that their big problem is US citizens trespassing and roaming around the capital building.

Of course, I guess that it's important for us to remember that although The Party overlords knows exactly what's going on, the minions, like DUers, on;y know and do whatever their masters tell them.
