I skipped thanksgiving with my maga family
Now they are texting me with pictures and trying to coax me into corresponding with them, I wrote back that they looked nice and I was busy thanksgiving day.
They all shut me down back when the conman came down the escalator, they flat refused to hear truth and basically told me to shut up about it and now they voted the con back in and voted against all things good and voted for evil.
I have a big family and every single one of them are brainwashed "christians".
I still love them and have asked them to let's sit down and discuss the issues but they flat refuse to so I stay away and keep quiet.
I don't want to ignore them and would like to engage in family with them but I just cannot until we have a talk.
Their smiles disgust me at this point.
If they only knew the truth would they have voted differently ?
I guess I'll never know.
I miss my family.

I'm sure your family was thrilled you stayed home.

..they flat refused to hear truth...
:rotf: Bless your brain-damaged heart. You've become so delusional that you actually believe your lies to be the truth.

...voted against all things good and voted for evil
Okay, so you admit that illegals flooding the country and murdering innocents is "good". I guess that goes hand in hand with your previously mentioned delusions.

...every single one of them are brainwashed "christians".
:rotf: It's always hilarious to me when someone who constantly bends knee to the will of The Party accuses someone else of being brainwashed.

If they only knew the truth would they have voted differently?
Based on how they voted it actually sounds like they actually knew the truth. Of course, they probably got their info from places other than The Party's propaganda arm (MSNBC) or an echo chamber internet message board on which you must walk in lockstep or get banned.

You know, DUmmie Beachnutt, even though you're a misguided, misled, unthinking disappointment, your family probably still actually loves you. And think of it this way...they want to have contact with you despite the fact that you're a disappointment. You, on the otherhand, don't want anything to do with them because they refuse to accept and embrace your delusion. Which of you two are intolerant?

There are quite a few Name Removed's on that thread. I didn't get a screenshot, but I remember one of them said something  like
"Trump isn't anti-gay, and the trans stuff is only sports, military and bathrooms."  POOF!

When you visit a restaurant, do you first ask the politics of the owner and employees? Same with a grocery store? What about your doctors? If you visit an ER and you’re told you need immediate surgery, do you say, wait! I must know how the doctors and staff involved in my surgery voted.

What about your grocery store? The local farmer’s market.

The echo chamber worked so well in November.

And he had two more (lengthy) posts that challenged them further.   Row over, they're worth reading actually.  He was just relentlessly attacked.  They refuse to take his point about echo chambers.  Fine with me.

Such a hateful, toxic wasteland of a thread.  Take your PPE.

Here's a radical idea: Both sides just agree not to talk politics.

In my MAGA-weirdness:

* While the business at hand is at the center of my and my family's talk with store clerks and restaurant servers, we make sure to be decent kind people; clerks and servers get enough @#$% from the occasional moron, so we try to be the opposite;

* When my wife and I had our brain tumors removed (~15 years apart) we didn't care about the surgeons' politics; we cared about coming out of surgery alive and well (we are);

* When our 2YO daughter had to undergo chemotherapy for ~6 months, we didn't care about the doctors' and nurses' politics, we just cared about our daughter living and being healthy (which she is).

Finding non-political stuff to focus on and talk about is not hard, unless you've made politics the center of your life.

Just wandered over for a look ... surprisingly, PennRalphie hasn't been MIRTed.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Democrats and modern leftists do not discuss, they monologue, and they make frequent use of 'because shut up'.

I'm sure the family of this DUmmy is tired of both.

They also have their own "truth", and no matter how deeply they pulled it out of their rectum, they think it overrides facts.

The DUmbass DUchebag is saying "I'm not insane!! Everybody else is crazy. I'm not insane! I'm not, I'm Not. I'M NOT!!!!!!"
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
