Title: Looking for new authors.
Post by: rich_t on March 17, 2011, 05:25:44 PM
I'm a big sci-fi fan.  I'm looking for a few new authors to try.

I like Heinlein, Andre Norton, Piers Anthony etc...

But I am looking for suggestions for any newer ones.

Have you read any of the Aldenata saga by John Ringo?  Most of them are actually available free on-line.  Here's a link to the first book:

I'm thinking I'm going to have to pony up and buy a dead-tree copy of the last (so far) volume (The Tuloriad) before too long.

Read any David Weber?  He's not exactly new, but if you start with

You'll have a hard time going wrong.
