Speaking from less than pleasant experience, the pneumonia that basically defined Covid could be unpleasant for one who survived. I was in the hospital for 13 days, and it took another month or so after release for me to recover my stamina to the point it was pre-Covid. So, a month or two of the effects of the pneumonia I could believe. But 2 1/2 years? I won't say it's impossible, but it would be a black swan riding a rainbow-pooping unicorn kind of thing.

Taking TEB's post date and 2 1/2 years to figure out when the late Mrs. TEB had Covid, that would place it in May 2020. What had do-nothing done about Covid by then?

* Operation Warp Speed had accelerated the testing of AstraZeneca's vaccine and had a conditional contract to buy 300M doses. AZ started their Phase 2/3 clinical trial in May 2020.

* Inovio started the Phase 1 clinical trial of their vaccine in April 2020.

* Johnson & Johnson began a partnership in April 2020 with the US NIH to develop and test a Covid vaccine.

* Moderna began a partnership on January 7, 2020 with the US NIH to develop and test a Covid vaccine. Moderna's prototype vaccine was created on January 13th, because Moderna needed and had received the sequence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. By the end of May volunteers for the Phase 2 clinical trial had begun

* Novavax began the Phase 1/2 clinical trial of its vaccine in late May 2020.

* Pfizer began working with the US government "late", being given Fast Track status on July 13, 2020. On July 22, a conditional contract with the US for 300M doses was announced.

* On July 31, 2020 Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline announced a conditional contract with the US for 100M doses.

* On June 26, 2020 it was announced that Vaxart would participate in Operation Warp Speed.

AZ's, Inovio's, Sanofi/GSK's, and Vaxart's vaccines were not authorized for use, but that was not foreseeable in May 2020. Trump didn't put US' vaccine eggs in just one basket or even a single vaccine technology.

* DARPA partner AbCellera began developing a monoclonal antibody treatment (mab) for Covid on January 28, 2020. This mab was authorized for use late in 2020. Mrs. SVPete received this mab when she had Covid.

* On February 4, 2020, Regeneron began working with HHS to develop a mab treatment for Covid. Trump received this treatment in October 2020, and EUA was received late in 2020.

* On February 25, 2020 an NIH clinical trial of Remdesivir was begun at University of Nebraska Medical Center. Remdesivir received Emergency Use Authorization in May 2020 and received FDA approval several months later in 2020. Trump received this treatment in October 2020. I received Remdesivir when I had Covid.

My wife is improving she's in hospital a ramble.
It’s lonely here the boys left for jersey early this morning to get their grandmother my wife’s mom and her aunt my wife’s aunt to bring them out to biglerville pa area they will be home Sunday. Sarcasm I do not do well alone after 36 years of being married and raising a family.

My wife fell Tuesday around 10:00 am in downstairs bathroom she passed out. And she broke her hip ankle they said ruptured a disc in her spine. She has a infection that caused this as she was weak and passed out ,yesterday was great day as she is awake and alert she has been out of it with fever, yesterday she asked if she missed thanksgiving I smiled it is her favorite day she was born 1968 on thanksgiving day.

I noticed my wife starting to just show illness Sunday she just looked tired dark circles under her eyes and I said we should go Docs Monday she said she will be fine as she was already on antibiotic for her bronchitis. Since 2.5 years ago when she had COVID pneumonia was in hospital three weeks then rehab she has struggled and I’m really in tune and watch her for any illness.

I forget whether it was in mid-late 2020 or in 2021, but TEB's wife died of Covid. Teb needs to deny that his and her lifestyles made her more susceptible to Covid being serious and needs to blame Trump for everythung bad in his life. So TEB ludicrously believes that Trump had a magic something-or-other with which he could have kept Covid out of the US, but just refused to use it.

That the Trump Administration took Covid seriously and took action pretty much as soon as Covid's existence became known outside of China is so easy to prove that even I have done it:

His wife died. Supposedly from ‘long covid’ (which isn’t a real thing), but if he wants to claim that, ok. What he’s failing to mention is that she did well after Biden was elected.
