Vikings star Adrian Peterson to reportedly avoid jail time
« on: November 04, 2014, 12:51:44 PM »

Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson will reportedly plead no contest Tuesday to a lesser charge than the felony child-abuse charge he's currently facing and will not serve jail time.

Peterson, who was indicted in September for using a wooden switch to discipline his 4-year-old son earlier this year in suburban Houston, will plead no contest to one count of misdemeanor reckless assault, a source told ESPN's Michelle Steele.

Also likely to be discussed at Tuesday's hearing in Conroe is a prosecution motion to revoke Peterson's $15,000 bond for alleged marijuana use.

“Look, we’re led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he’s got something else in mind,”  Donald J.Trump. 6/13/16

Might be back on the field too the jerk. IIRC he's been on full salary all season.
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."
