“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

federal law enforcement sources in El Paso revealed that U.S. Congressman Beto O’Rourke telephoned the area offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) in an effort to identify—and evidently intimidate—sources that may have been used by JW to break the ISIS in Juarez story.

 :argh:

Hmmmmm  -  this is from Sept. 28th.  Guess he doesn't like it when he finds out he's wrong.  So is this the typical dummycrat response, to intimidate the whistleblower?

In his comments about ISIS and the border, O’Rourke said top federal law enforcement officials denied any credible intelligence of ISIS near the border. He said that communication about terrorist presence near the border is not a new idea, referencing a newspaper headline from 1981 that warned of a Libyan hit squad near the border.

“Whenever we’re scared of something in this country, we project that fear to the border,” O’Rourke said.
