Child Rape Victim: Hillary Clinton 'Lied Like A Dog' In My Case

The victim in a 1975 child rape case, in which Hillary Clinton acted as attorney for the defendant, gave an interview to the Daily Beast in which she said that "Hillary Clinton took me through hell."

The interview followed the publication by the Washington Free Beacon of audio recordings in which Clinton discussed the case. Conservative figures had used the recordings to criticize Clinton, though the victim had declined to speak with the Free Beacon. She granted an interview with the Daily Beast's Josh Rogin, who agreed to withhold her name.

“I would say (to Clinton), ‘You took a case of mine in ‘75, you lied on me… I realize the truth now, the heart of what you’ve done to me," the victim said. "And you are supposed to be for women? You call that for women, what you done to me?"

In its 2008 feature on the case, Newsday reported that Clinton's strategy had been "attacking the credibility of a 12-year-old girl." Clinton said in the recordings that her client plea bargained. According to the Free Beacon, he was sentenced to one year behind bars.

2. That's one of the worst parts of our legal system in my eyes.

Allowing lawyers to smear victims in order to sway them away from convicting the defendant. Comes pretty much straight down from the Roman system of 'justice' where everything was all about how good your lawyer was at baffling with BS, and nothing to do with the actual evidence of the case.

What Hillary did is no better and no worse than what defense lawyers do day in and day out, because we as a society find it acceptable that they be allowed to revictimize victims in court to protect defendants.

It's worse, because Hillary has claimed victimhood so many times it's ridiculous.

9. It is the responsibility for the defending attorney to defend their client, it is the state's

responsibility to prove a case and the defending attorney to point to possible flaws in the state's case. Not saying it is right but the case could come up again and again if the attorney is negligent in defending their client and perhaps get the easier sentence for their client. Don't like rapists but in the USA they are entitled to a trial with a defending attorney.

Ignore the part about her smearing a 12 year girl.

her client if she believed he was innocent. This is as stupid an attempt to smear a lawyer as the one that has been used to try to smear Glenn Greenwald when he was acting as a defense attorney.

There isn't a defense attorney alive who couldn't be attacked this way for doing their job.

That bitch Hillary knew he was guilty.

On the tapes, Clinton, who speaks in a Southern drawl, appears to acknowledge that she was aware of her client’s guilt, brags about successfully getting the only piece of physical evidence thrown out of court, and laughs about it all whimsically.

“He took a lie detector test. I had him take a polygraph, which he passed, which forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs,” Clinton says on the recording, failing to hold back some chuckles.

8. sounds like she might have won the case but got her own client jail time anyway

the article doesn't give enough details, but it said that clinton's client passed a polygraph case and that clinton was able to cast doubt on the victim's testimony (however odious that process invariably may be).

yet clinton apparently still believed her client was guilty. rather than go to trial, which she might well have won, she had her client plea bargain so he would serve some jail time.

sounds to me like clinton was in a tough ethical spot and may have achieved a good outcome, serving her client's interests by avoiding a possibly much longer conviction, yet serving justice by not getting him off entirely.


of course i don't know the details. republicans will of course claim that it was an open and shut case and clinton was only able to get a lesser plea out of it because she behaved monstrously.

Somebody needs to seriously ask her if this is really the case. If so, I suspect that you could ask about ethical charges for "not getting him off entirely"

Hitlery was asked to take this case as a favor to the prosecutor.
She got her client to plea bargain.
That is probably just the "favor" the prosecutor wanted when he asked Hitlery to take the case.
That type of collusion is totally unethical as well as illegal.
I hope that Hitlery get burned badly for that.

Scientists should study how quickly they are willing to abandon their positions when there is a D next to someones name.  It may lead to the discovery of faster-than-light travel.

Is it the lawyers job to laugh about it?  To delight in it?

Clinton described how she attacked the prosecution’s handling of key evidence and won a light sentence on reduced charges for a man she knew was guilty — which is what defense attorneys do. However, her laughter and clear delight in retelling this story provided a discordant note to Hillary’s claim to be a defender of women, and some questioned whether Hillary employed an “attack the victim” defense that would make that claim even more hypocritical.
