Hello all.

I'm Jason, 19 from Utah.

I'm currently training as a lawyer - hopefully going to be getting some experience soon with a legal firm.

My family have always been very conservative, and so have I. Just wanted to seek out some people with a similar worldview!

Welcome, Jason.

I don't always wear socks, but when I do, they are the same color. Being a Dog, I have to match two pair at a time.

I'm curious about a couple of things-

1. You are using the Army flag as your avatar. Why?

2. What does "training to be a lawyer" mean? As a 19 year old, you are most likely a freshman or sophomore in college. Pre-law?

1. I just thought it looked cool! I did think about the Army but decided not.
2. I am nearly 20 and having a year in legal practice - but there's a lot of competition for the best places.

Welcome Jason.  I wish you luck with your internship, or whatever experience you are getting at a law firm, but remember, part of the experience is to help you decide if this is what you want for your career as well.

Your opening post certainly suggests areas of inquiry...

What does "training to be a lawyer" mean? You are in Law School at 19? Or you are pre-law?  Or you have a vest and wire spectacles and go to old Judge Mason's house every day after chores to learn you some legal?

Also, I can't make out the graphic in your sig...
