Fri Sep 13, 2013, 08:25 PMLady Freedom Returns (5,964 posts) Nervous about what to tell them at the exit interview. They will ask me why I am living. I don't want to say because I can't stand my family. What should I say. I was thinking something like "Unfinished Business in Tucson". It is true, I never got the set up my little home like I wanted.

Rather than being mysterious or deceptivejust say that you are looking forward to returning to your home in Arizona. Why Arizona? For the weather. Anyone in Joplin will understand that. You don't owe anyone any details and keeping it upbeat means that if you use them for a reference they won't be speculating about your personal life to your detriment.

Something along the line of "I have made the decision (this let's them know that it is a done deed-you are not just thinking about it. "I have made the decision to move back to Tucson. It is my home now, and I am more homesick than I ever imagined." Play nice - put all the blame on your missing Tucson - not on any of their shenanigans - and maybe they will take you to catch the bus - save you the fare. Also, hide your ticket - probably on your person. Your family sounds a little devious sometime, and they might try to make your ticket disappear. (Sorry, don't mean to sound hateful about your family.) Keep us posted - we all care.

Many of us are asking the same thing..
I've never worked at a convenient store ... Is there even a remote possibility they are going to do an exit interview?!I would picture that going something like this;"I'm quitting.""Ok."The end.KC
I picture it going that way too. BUT, if she actually did have to go for an exit interview, do you think she would be any more honest in it than she was on the register she ran?
I thought the exit interview was for the benefit of the company. Is there really any right or wrong answers?
"Unfinished Business in Tucson"
That Chad is still breathing.
I tell you, man, this is not going to end well.
It's a good thing the Tucson Police Dept has a Tip Hotline.

But I got sick of my family and then I realized that the manager had issues with me ( or anyone) that was in a trailer park. Anyone with a EBT card is a big issues with him.It was supposed to happen today, but due to a robbery at another store, she was tied up. She is coming on Wednesday.
