He is a thug, the Commie equivalent of a brownshirt. However, he is right that the Obamanuts keep blaming Assad as if he had personally given the order, with no evidence released of him actually giving direct orders. Just for a little perspective, in the Cold War not so long ago, while our doctrine forswore 'First use' of chemical weapons, we did reserve the right to retaliate if they were used on us, Kerry's entire line about the use of them being 'Unthinkable' for the past hundred years is pretty much horseshit, what is really true is that nobody wanted to use them first, and that cherry was popped in Syria long ago.
Use of chemical weapons in defended urban areas was in fact a basic part of McArthur's plan for the invasion of Japan, had it not been rendered unnecessary by the A-Bomb.
Nor did our planned use of them in reprisal involve going all the way to the President, it was normally gamed as a decision authority that had been delegated to the theater commander. There are very few still on active duty, or in our political leadership, who have any direct memory of how deadly earnest the NATO/Pact face-off was, and the thundering lout Kerry is no exception.
In the case of Syria, even taking it at face value that the regime attacked with VX, it is quite possible that Assad did not actually order the attack, but that a regional commander with the assets under his control did that.
