Tried something new...a cheesecakey type thing...

simple...made with crescent roll dough, cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and butter.  Good cold, but better when it's warm/room temp.

2 tubes of crescent roll dough
2 8oz packages of cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla

topping
1 stick butter melted
1 cup sugar
cinnamon

Soften cream cheese, in a mixer ,mix the sugar and cream cheese  Add vanilla.   Unroll one crescent roll tube (keep in a rectangle) and put it in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.  Spread cream cheese mixture over the top.  Top with other cresecent roll package.

Mix the sugar and melted butter together, pour over the top.  Sprinkle with cinnamon.   Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.

Let cool for an hour or so before eating.

Store leftovers in fridge (after which, it will be more like pie).

Yum.  I'll have to make this.  Is this a recipe you created?  I bet you could roll up the dough with the filling and slice it and bake like cinnamon rolls.

We're having a heatwave out here in So Cal so my oven stays off until it's over!

Sometimes I wonder why God didn't just hand us our teeth in a baggie.

(Sound like a winner!  How about adding some fruit preserves to the mix?)

One of the other dance moms brought it in to share during our marathon week of rehearsals, and my daughter loved it, so she gave me the recipe.  Tried it at home for Father's Day, and everyone loved it!

That sounds good with some strawberry or blueberry preserves added!
