The trees around my house are full of those little buggers.  Make some interesting noises at night...
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

How different are sugar gliders and the flyers ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

They're marsupials from Australia, and have a different diet.
The basic size and forms are very similar. Coloration is different.

Little Abigail passed away quietly last night.  She was nine years old.

Oh, so sorry to hear that.  Nine years with you must have been a very long life for her, I would guess, compared to living in the wild.  So she was a lucky little thing.

Oh, jeez, I just saw this. I'm so sorry -- it's hard losing a member of the family like that, and yes, I believe that Abigail certainly was.

A very old one would be twelve, so figure that as 100.
She would have been in her high seventies/low eighties I imagine.

Ah, I see he's got the classic teenager male problem. Too much equipment and too little knowledge in how to use it.  :lmao:

Cute little bugger, though.

Its been a long time.

Thanks for bumping the thread Skul. I didn't want to since it has been a while, but since we found the little flying squirrel the other week and gave to a friend to raise, it made this thread a real treat to read.

With the info you pmed me, hoping the little fellow makes it.

Skul, good luck with the flyer.
Is the chipmunk in the same family?
We have a chipmunk Who is raiding our bird feeder and stuffing his cheeks with bird seed.
I know it's a he because a female would never be that greedy.
Any suggestions?
