Never a dull moment.
Then after about six weeks.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

You get some incredible closeups. Are you using a filter, or a macro lens, or something else?

Had to look. those were with a 100mm macro. Normally I use a 24-105 zoom, with same results.
They're extremely tame, so getting close is easy.

This is Abigail. She's a plus eight year old flyer.
She's a bit of a recluse.
(I'm using old method so as not to clutter photobucket)
She's a nice little squirrel.

I don't know if that would be possible.

A little Eastern Gray. We've raised several.
This is a Fox that a young girl had found and brought to us.
Two, maybe three days old when brought.
Age progresses a little in each.

We enjoy the little tree rats.  Kind of fun to photograph.
This is the same little squirrel seen above.  He was taken to his release site about two weeks later.

Binky went and got herself knocked up again. At least we're pretty sure.
She's building nests all over the place.
We don't need any more baby flyers.

The first is Elle Belle.  She's tiny little girl.
The second, is Gabby.  I'll be driving up toward Dallas to deliver her to her new caretakers.
Her other caretakers were afraid they could give her the attention she needs due to a new baby on the way.
I volunteered to help with the transport.
