She ain't fat, she's just "big boned"!!

Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Do they get along with flying squirrels, or are they more like their namesakes and don't get along well with others ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Three of the youngsters will be going to their release home tomorrow.
The foxer can be placed in a release cage now for acclimation.
The two young grays, will need another six or seven weeks before they're ready.
The flyers are all doing well. Piglet, does not like having the foxer in the house.
She went after him the other night, and all hell broke loose.
Poor Moses was yelling his heart out.

I really enjoyed watching Squirrels games. $11 for "premium seats" on the 1st base line.  Our group snagged around 6 or 7 balls in as many games.  The team was great about signing them.

Who is Moses?
Moses is a young foxer we took in when he was very young.
The first pic is after we had him for a week. The second, just a few days ago.
He was named Moses, because the nest resembled a basket.

Moses is pretty much an adult now, and will do fine.
I transferred him and the two young grays earlier today.
The new home is fully capable of caring for all of them.
Moses will be acclimated and released in about three weeks.
The two young grays will be there in about 6-7 weeks.
We're in a warmer climate, so temps are not really an issue.
Going to miss the little monsters.

Little flyers are doing fine. We do have a young girl with a seizure problem.
She's a sweet little girl that just locks up when she gets exited.
I mean literally, locks up. No movement at all.
I've heard of this before, and it seems to diminish as they age.
She's a nice squirrel that we hope to re-home to a caring lady in Virginia.

Well, they do fly in a way.
Last weekend at Charlotte for the NASCAR race.

Clint Boyer
Brad Keselowski dragging his jack around the track. Poor kid ended up winning, too.  :lmao:

Skul, you need to bodge together a flying squirrel wind tunnel, so they can get in there and spread their wings. Hey, hamsters get hamster ferris wheel treadmills !

You haven't seen anything, till you see a flyer on one of those wheels.
They put hamsters to shame.
When the wheel gets up to speed, they stop running and ride it. Then do it again.
Funniest thing you ever saw.

It looks like you put these rascals in cages. Do they mix well? Or do you have to separate them? With parrots, it's not a good idea to mix them up, unless they're a breeding pair or bonded to each other.

Flyers are never mixed with other types of animals.
They are somewhat social, and will form a colony with other flyers, especially if they are raised together.
