Yahoo email
« on: June 07, 2013, 10:30:36 PM »
How do I cancel Yahoo email addresses one by one? I have 6 of them, but my wife wants to keep hers.

Yahoo does not make it easy, at least what I can see.

If you don't log in for six months straight, the account will automatically close.  That's how it was back in the day.  Not sure if that still holds true today.

If you are closing the accounts because of the NSA stuff, don't plan on getting an e-mail account with anyone else.  It's the same thing across the board.

No, I'm closing them due to the approximately 125 spams I get EVERY day. Yahoo says the spams will automatically be deleted, but that's a lie. The blocked addresses also keep coming. That's a lie, too.

I don't think they do that all the time.  The account I used to register here is one that I had forgotten about for a long time, but a couple of months ago it was still there.

It matters NOT any more. Color me GONE from Yahoo email!

I had been considering doing this for several months, and then I just got too pissed to tolerate it any more.
