So 50+ armed people protesting outside of people's private homes? and no one will perceive that as a threat?
because that is what protests outside a home is: a threat to those inside.

Methinks the "evil" here is to so intimidate the innocent people inside as force them to shoot in self defense. and wala, it was a replica gun with the orange painted over. The home owner will be billed as shooting an innocent protester.

So, which of these DUmb asses are willing to be the ones to take a bullet during this "protest"?
