Ban assualt bombs.
That'll stop the nonsence.
We need bomb-free zones, like NOW!

Stupid DUmpmonkeys.
Bombs are already illegal.  Fat lot of good that did.

As well as recreational drugs.

And yet the Democratic party is allowed to walk around in daylight.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

In the next day or so expect stories like this

 From around the nation

By Miriam Raftery and Nadin (The Penguin),Abbott

April 15, 2013 (Boston) – Two bomb blasts ripped through the finish line area at the Boston Marathon today, turning the athletic event into a scene reminiscent of a war zone. Over 100 people have been treated at Boston-area hospitals, some with serious injuries including amputations of limbs. Two people are reported dead, including a child, CNN reports.

Approximately 191 people from San Diego County were running in the event, according to the Boston Marathon website. That includes from San Diego as well as several from East County and inland areas: Five from La Mesa, Four from El Cajon, four from Poway, and one each from Lakeside and Ramona. A hotline has been setup for families seeking information at 617-635-4500.

Today was a holiday, Patriot’s Day, in Massachusetts. The occasion honors the battles of Lexington and Concord during the Revolutionary War and celebrating America’s spirit of independence.

I might add, from around the world.

The Marathon is quite frankly a global event.

Must have been a doozy.  :rotf:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

That's my read too.

I stand corrected.
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Those bombs were not the work of a competent terrorist. Way too weak.

The result was so tragic because they were set off in the heart of a crowd.

I was just surprised to see a lot of nearby windows weren't broken.

I bet it turns out to be someone like that shoe bomb dumbass, or the douchebag who tried to bomb Times Square.

CBS News covering the bombing just said there was 26 seconds of silence at the beginning of the marathon in memory of the Sandy Hook victims.....what connection that has to the bombing I don't know but they just had to get that in there somehow.

And I heard that Obama arranged for some of the parents of the victims of Sandy Hook to attend the Boston Marathon and they were supposedly in the reviewing stands near the first bomb blast.

They are jumping to conclusions.

At warp speed no less. Just more proof as to why they are called DUmmies. Not on person has come out and said who was responsible and yet those mental midgets automatically claim its a VWRC by conservatives. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a tactic used by the Religion of Peace or some left wing idealogy.
