Carving the Easter Ham....
« on: March 24, 2013, 06:37:32 PM »
Every year I go through this. It's a terrible job, but somebody has to do it. So, since this is the first year I'm going with a butt half, I decided to GOOGLE up some instructions, and I put a web page together if anybody wants/needs some help.............

I'm giving up on ham shank halves!

I only buy spiral cut, but I usually get it at Sam's or Kroger's and do the coating myself. I won't spend that much money to get a HoneyBaked. It's too easy to do it myself.....
Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

I never have good luck with the spiral cut hams.  They always dry out to easy.

I like using an electric knife for slicing ham.
