I haven't had it knowingly.  However, I have had buffalo/bison, venison, rabbit, gator, ostrich and my favorite, at a restaurant in Rodanthe, NC called DownUnder, Roo Bites (as in kangaroo) which are excellent!   The restaurant is no longer open, unfortunately.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course.
And seahorse513 would never eat a horse.
That is, unless the horse (of course)

Or it was in an Ikea meatball.

There's room for all of God's creatures... right next to the mashed potatoes.

Agreed!

There is no way I could eat a horse, or any kind of animal that is known to beloved by humans(dog, cat, horse)

I've helped raise cows and pigs. But they still end up on the grill.

In the 1970' traveling the USA, we stopped many places to eat.  One place sold Horse Jerky.  I tried it and liked it.

During that time-frame, I used to hunt small game and deer along with my ex-hub, and learned to cook everything harvested.  I love it all, as well as any fresh-caught fish.

Horse ? Yeah. I'd give that a try at least.

There's not very many animals that I wouldn't be prepared to dice , spice and stew up should the need arise.
