Bammy is going to put HIS hand picked man in the WH and you are looking at him.  As for the govership here in Tx, well the elect committee was formed several months ago and I don't know if he were to lose it would hold him back, maybe a bit, but still him being Mayor is far more exp than Obama had.  SA is a city of 2 M.

He is a Harvard edu Mexican, his mother was a RADICAL and if you think Obama is far left, Castro will give him a run for his money.  Castro has signed on to Agenda 21.

Perry said he is going to run again but I do not think he has the mileage left in him for another successful run.  If Castro gets it and I think he very well may, then he walks in the door of the WH...That is how I call it today 2 Jan 2013...may change later but I can smell the coffee brewing this...

Well then I am smelling the same coffee.  I don't hear as much about Castro as you do, but I have heard enough.  I am not confident that Perry can pull of another election, and I haven't a clue who would replace him.

If Perry runs again Perry wins again.  If Perry steps down more than likely whoever he backs will win.  For all the Perry naysayers around Texas has made to much in the way of economic progress in the last decade to reverse course now. The conservatives own the state and it will remain such for the foreseeable future.

Dewhurst  burnt a few bridges in his Senate race but I don't think that would keep him from the Governorship.

I counted a river and two stop lights.  It reminds me of the last time I drove to Kentucky.

Rolesville, NC was like that... one stop light, three patrol cars, and a BP station.

Exactly, Texas hasnt elected a statewide democrat in 20+ years and it's not happening anytime soon.

People in hell want ice water, aint gonna happen. Perry has crushed his opponents in his elections. Castro got 34,309 votes in his last mayoral election, in a city of 1.3 MILLION people. His support is tiny, it will be zero if he takes an anti-2nd stance.

I am glad, be surprised at how many think we have nothing to worry about here in Tx.  Dims got us in their sights, if they swing Tx and its electoral votes...Take Tx and Ca is in the bag and the Dems will be forever more in the WH.  Whitey is in the MINORITY in TX, we are only about 45%!!

You got a link for that number, hard to believe that less than 50,000 votes were cast.

He is a 2 time Mayor of a major US city, he won in 2011 with 82% of the votes cast.
