Beautiful country. Spent some time around there when I lived in SA. (We lived about 3 miles from Helotes, off of Bandera Rd.)

I was a "Kerrvert" for a while, too.

I Have family on 281 near Bulverde. Wish I still lived up there.

Thanks all, good to see a lot of Texans on here.

Headed to DFW to go to college and made it my base of ops for many years.  Lived in Dallas and then later a little town just W of DFW airport called Colleyville.  Grew up in San Antonio till about 14 or so then we moved to our ranch out in E Texas.

Been to every state in the US at least once and lived in Europe, Asia and Latin America, NO PLACE on the face of God's earth is better than Texas...

I have a plea for you Texans, please keep that state from turning purple or (gulp) blue as so many Californians, New Yorkers and Illinoisans (don't know the plural  :-)) move to Texas.  :bash:

Too many states are having a blue tide moving in...... :mental:

Sen Cornyn is sounding like a democrat lately.  :thatsright:

North East of Austin here. About 70 miles. About the same distance from Waco.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
