Cards
« on: December 12, 2012, 08:26:50 PM »
This is a thread for the cards I make (including Christmas from now forward) or anyone else who makes cards.

I started this card for my grandma's birthday, she is turning 99 in a week. I started with the owl stamp having one idea in my head but it turned out totally different and in my opinion, too youngish looking for my grandma. So I decided to give it to my mother-in-law for her birthday which is in a few days (so I have to get it in the mail).

I made this card for my grandma's 99th birthday. I remember buying this stamp set (Artistic Outpost) because the stamp I used for this card reminded me of my grandma's farm. Her farm house is white so I left it white (I started with white cardstock).

I used this magnetic stamp set for the year she was born and Happy Birthday.  You can say what ever you want with this magnetic stamp set as the letters and numbers are separate.  You have a magnetic stamp pad that the go on. It's supposed to look hand stamped and a bit crooked. On the inside I stamped 99 YEARS!

PS don't look in the background, I'm in the middle of making cayenne pretzels.

For this card I used a templete for the tree and poked holes where it said then threaded bakers twine through the holes.

PS I already trimmed the left side of the banner for those of you who noticed it was a little uneven.  :p

I wonder if those cards would actually survive the Postal System.......

My daughters birthday card I made. She turned 14 yesterday but she thinks she is 21. She is beautiful and knows it, bad combination.
