Those auction commissions have treated him well. Good for him. Muscle car prices have really lagged with the 0bamaconomy, or maybe it was another bubble that burst, but those commissions aren't what they were 5-6 years ago.

There is a general lack of money out there for classic cars.  A (classic car) dealer I know let sixty go at auction recently essentially for whatever he could get to clear out inventory.  Granted not all of them were 100 point mega cars but I know his eye so I would bet they were very high end of the scale (70-80) cars which use to be sold for some $erious dough. 

It is probably a better time to be buying than selling.  (says one who is selling)
