This game is really winner take all with little consolation

Winner goes to the NC and loser misses out on the BCS and gets stuck in a lower tier bowl

Sugar Bowl, Louisiana State-Clemson or Florida-Oklahoma

Yeah, those don't make a lot of sense.  With either Alabama or Georgia going to the NC, the other should go to a major bowl.  Same with Florida finishing 10-1.  So of the SEC, one will go to the NC and UGA, UF & LSU should go to major bowls.  Wouldn't be surprised to see So. Carolina, TAMU, and Miss. State playing in a New Year's Day bowl either.

Only 2 teams from a conference can go to the BCS. So the winner of Alabama-Georgia will go and Florida will go. The loser of Alabama-Georgia, LSU, TAMU and SCAR will all get lower bowls
