On the video I saw what appeared to be someone ripping the pages from a Bible. Wonder what DU would say about it? Wonder what they would say if it would have been a Koran?

I recently came up with an idea concerning homosexual marriage. The biggest draw back is that it will take some time.

Here it is:

Take thirty liberal homosexual couples (20 to 25 years old) and drop them on a completely stocked, isolated island.

Also, take thirty conservative heterosexual couples (20 to 25 years old) and drop them on a separate completely stocked, isolated island.

Leave both islands totally and completely isolated. At the end of 80 years go to each island and ask the residents which group would be more beneficial to society. If the homosexuals give the best answer, homosexual marriage becomes legal. If the heterosexuals give the best answer, normal marriage remains.

One of the funniest SI-FI story's I ever read was about who to send on a 3 year voyage to mars.

They tried sending 20 people, 12 were heterosexuals and the other 8 mixed Gay.   This did not work out too well and the crew returned back to earth after 18 months. Some of us know those who swing both ways and it became all out war as to who was to do what and to whom.

They tried sending up 20 gay men, Imagine spending 24/7 for 3 years in a male gay bar.  they lasted 8 months.

Next were all Lesbians, they lasted almost 2 years but by the time they got back 6 were dead. Tough cookies those woman were.
