The History of Chili

I mentioned this in another thread. Our town is having a chili cook off to raise funds for a local "Say No to Abuse" charity, our local Hospice and others. Years ago the International Chili Association was involved in these cook offs years ago in my town, and now they have been brought back in. They will also be having a large classic car show. The weather should be in the low to mid 70's.

Our town should have a very good turn out, and a lot of money should be raised.

You simply buy tickets to taste the chili then cast your vote for your favorites.

Private individuals, restaurants and businesses participate in the cook off. This includes the lady that took over Art Bell's radio station. She does a lot for this community.
